After eight years of conversation, music, deep dives into culture, ancestral grief and partnership building we came together at WOMEX 2026 to launch the World Music Pan-Indigenous Declaration Framework. This is a living document, intended as an invitation to all of us to recognise and ally with the musicians and organisations who champion the voices of Indigenous, First-Nation and minority language cultures across our precious globe.
